The Princess and the pea!

I was cleaning the kitchen yesterday when tahlia came in and said mom how pretty do i look? She was decked out head to toe. Im suprised she didnt have her fairy dress on with it. So kara if your wondering if she liked her present, she sure does! :) everyday she puts it on and dances around the house and even dresses ky up too.

Tahli's birthday

Like I always say time goes by so fast! Tahlia just turned three the other day and man she was excited! She keeps saying now im a big girl i get to go to school hu?! Ky just couldnt handle it anymore. As soon as Tahlia blew her candle out she needed in! And Tahlia was so nice to share!
Colt picked out a cute new princess bike for her birthday! And she did such a good job riding it.

I cant belive that summer is almost over!!! I was looking through my camera of all the fun things we did this summer and figured I better put them on before all the fall and winter pictures start coming. The thought of winter makes me want to crawl in a hole and die! Dont get me wrong i love to see the snow fall and go snowboarding and take the kids sledding but I hate to be COLD! I love the weather right now and being able to just walk outside and watch my kids play or take them to the park or just lay outside while they take there naps. So i guess I will just soak up the time I have before this crazy winter starts all over again. Any way these are pics from the rodeo at strawberry days. Our favorite! the boys all do the cow milking except for colt he woosed out this year. But is was awesome cause Cassidys team won! they were a little beat up but it was so fun to watch. Tahlia had a blast! Isnt she the cutest lil cowgirl you have ever seen?! We didnt take Ky cause we figured that would be a little over whelming but next year we will for sure when she gets a little bigger. Tahlia really wanted to ride the sheep so hopefully next year she will be old enough to do that.

Kya's Birthday

Happy B-day!! Sunday August 17, 2008 Kya turned 1. Its crazy to think that a whole year has gone bye, when it seems like just yesterday we were bringing our second baby girl home from the hospital. Now she is walking and talking and seems so big.

She really enjoyed digging her hands into that tastey white frosting, and she was even willing to let us all take a taste off of her hand.
What a mess, time to head to the sink and wash off!
Tahlia just couldnt resist! The second Ky was done she got into her seat and buried her face in the cake. Yummy!

This summer we took the girls to the ocean for the first time. We spent a week in ocean side California, in an awesome beach house that overlooked the ocean. The girls had so much fun building sand castles on the beach, and splashing in the water. Ky stood up for her first time during this trip, ironically it happened to be on a surf board! While me and Colt tried to relax, tahlia spent most of her time playing with her cousins and searching the beach for seashells. kya was another story, she kept us busy climbing on everything she could get her hands on! Over all the trip was amazing.We all had a blast!
